Aitronik joins judging panel of RAMI Marine Robotics Challenge

Did you know that the NATO STO-CMRE – Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation in La Spezia recently hosted the RAMI International Challenge on Marine Robotics?

At Aitronik, we were truly honored to be invited to join the jury for this remarkable event. Our team members, Federico Mazzitelli, Nicola Esposito, and Roberto Mati, had the privilege of evaluating a wide range of tasks, including field test campaigns and scientific papers & poster sessions. It was an incredible opportunity for us to contribute to the ever-evolving Marine Robotics field and meet old and new friends.

⬇⬇⬇ Some insights from the 3-day challenge:

1️⃣ The UNIFI Robotics Team from the University of Florence showcased outstanding results, earning well-deserved accolades for their exceptional performance. Congratulations to Benedetto Allotta, Alessandro Ridolfi and the entire team for your astonishing outcomes!

2️⃣ The Team ERGO (DII – UNIPI) from the University of Pisa stole the spotlight with their first-place win in the Best Poster Award category. Kudos to Simone Tani for presenting an exceptional paper. We do not doubt that the ERGO Team has a bright future ahead!
