Comp4Drones Final Event

Are you a drone enthusiast? Do you have an interest in autonomous and safe robots?
If the answer is yes, you may wish to know that a few days ago the EU-funded Comp4Drones project reached its final review meeting.

Comp4Drones has brought together 50 partners from 9 European countries, working together to provide novel technologies and awareness for autonomous and safe aerial, ground, and marine drones.

We all met in Lugo (Spain) to present and show the relevant results from our work.

During the meeting, Giovanni Marco Cordella shared Aitronik results on a new obstacle detection and avoidance component for autonomous robots powered by DeepLearning techniques.

Francesca Palumbo and Daniel Madroñal from the University of Sassari presented the results of the Precision Agriculture use case provided by the Italian team as a whole. And all the Italian partners presented the numerous high-quality results obtained during the project.
A big applause to all of us, it was great to be part of this wonderful team.

And a special thanks to IndraMauro Gil CabezaReda NouacerTeresa Álamos, for making all this possible.
